We are Chartered property
consultants specialising in the provision of Home We have been involved in the HIP initiative since 2001, sitting on a variety of Government led focus groups to develop the HCR and EPC. We participated in the pilot scheme to create the Diploma in Home Inspection and became the first ‘Licensed Home Inspector’ in County Durham and one of the first in England and Wales. We carried out the home condition report for the first HIP in England and Wales and were interviewed and broadcast on Radio 4 as a result of this. During the Newcastle dry run, we produced almost 250 home condition reports (HCR’s) and energy performance certificates (EPC’s). Since the dry run, we have continued to produce HCR’s and EPC’s for a range of clients including social housing providers and property developers. We are consultants to City and Guilds of London, and assisted in the development of their Domestic Energy Assessor qualification, and continue to be involved in the setting of questions for their examinations.
